Financial Analyst - board reporting (Boston, MA)

Harborlight Ridge Insurance sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Boston. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on board reporting. We invest in training for new adjusters. What you will do • Model the cost of catastrophe response and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with premium billing. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Boston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
