Financial Analyst - board reporting (Birmingham, AL)

Ironwood Wren Transit Planning helps transport agencies around Birmingham design routes and schedules. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on board reporting. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Birmingham. What you will do • Model the cost of route schedules and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with ridership counts. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Birmingham. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
