Financial Analyst - board reporting (Birmingham, AL)

Lumen Field Manufacturing manufactures parts and assemblies at its Birmingham plant. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on board reporting. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Model the cost of work orders and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with machine downtime. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Birmingham. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
