Financial Analyst - board reporting (Birmingham, AL)

Ironwood Kestrel Financial is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on board reporting for regulatory reports, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of regulatory reports and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with vendor spend. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Birmingham. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
