Financial Analyst - board reporting (Birmingham, AL)

We are growing our team at Lumen Stone Transit Planning Group and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be board reporting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Model the cost of survey data and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with ridership counts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Birmingham. • We reply to every applicant.
