Financial Analyst - board reporting (Birmingham, AL)

We are growing our team at Cedar Hollow Energy Group and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be board reporting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Model the cost of billing disputes and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with hardship programmes. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Birmingham. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
