Financial Analyst - board reporting (Anchorage, AK)

Cedar Markets serves neighbourhoods around Anchorage with fresh food and everyday goods, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our board reporting. We are friendly and busy, especially on weekends. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Model the cost of shrink and waste and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with supplier deliveries. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Anchorage. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
