Facilities Coordinator - work orders and vendors (Oakland, CA)

Bluepeak Fern Arts Center Partners is looking for a Facilities Coordinator. The job centres on work orders and vendors for exhibitions, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 49 people based in Oakland. What you will do • Keep safety records and drills current. • Track spending on exhibitions and building supplies. • Log, prioritise and follow up on maintenance requests. • Coordinate vendors, contractors and inspections. • Manage space, keys and moves. What we are looking for • Experience in facilities, property or building operations. • Basic knowledge of building systems. • Practical, calm and organised. Nice to have • Experience with a work-order system. • Facilities management certification. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Oakland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
