Facilities Coordinator - work orders and vendors (Hartford, CT)

Fernwood Mill Facilities is looking for a Facilities Coordinator. The job centres on work orders and vendors for customer sites, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Bilingual teams are common. What you will do • Log, prioritise and follow up on maintenance requests. • Track spending on customer sites and building supplies. • Manage space, keys and moves. • Keep safety records and drills current. • Coordinate vendors, contractors and inspections. What we are looking for • Basic knowledge of building systems. • Practical, calm and organised. • Experience in facilities, property or building operations. Nice to have • Facilities management certification. • Experience with a work-order system. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Hartford, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
