Facilities Coordinator - work orders and vendors (Des Moines, IA)

Ironwood Ember Housing is a nonprofit housing provider in Des Moines. We are hiring a Facilities Coordinator to take on work orders and vendors. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track spending on lease compliance and building supplies. • Log, prioritise and follow up on maintenance requests. • Manage space, keys and moves. • Coordinate vendors, contractors and inspections. • Keep safety records and drills current. What we are looking for • Basic knowledge of building systems. • Experience in facilities, property or building operations. • Practical, calm and organised. Nice to have • Facilities management certification. • Experience with a work-order system. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Des Moines, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
