Facilities Coordinator - work orders and vendors (Chicago, IL)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Ember Housing and adding a Facilities Coordinator whose main responsibility will be work orders and vendors. You would join a large organisation of about 423 people based in Chicago. What you will do • Keep safety records and drills current. • Log, prioritise and follow up on maintenance requests. • Track spending on maintenance stores and building supplies. • Coordinate vendors, contractors and inspections. • Manage space, keys and moves. What we are looking for • Practical, calm and organised. • Basic knowledge of building systems. • Experience in facilities, property or building operations. Nice to have • Facilities management certification. • Experience with a work-order system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Chicago, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
