Facilities Coordinator - space and moves (Oakland, CA)

Northwind Birch Arts Center Group runs a venue and education programmes in Oakland. We are hiring a Facilities Coordinator to take on space and moves. You would join a small organisation of about 105 people based in Oakland. What you will do • Manage space, keys and moves. • Log, prioritise and follow up on maintenance requests. • Track spending on event logistics and building supplies. • Coordinate vendors, contractors and inspections. • Keep safety records and drills current. What we are looking for • Experience in facilities, property or building operations. • Basic knowledge of building systems. • Practical, calm and organised. Nice to have • Facilities management certification. • Experience with a work-order system. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Oakland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
