Facilities Coordinator - space and moves (Detroit, MI)

Amberfield Birch Arts Center is a cultural organisation in Detroit presenting exhibitions and performances, and we need a Facilities Coordinator to lead our space and moves. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Detroit. What you will do • Coordinate vendors, contractors and inspections. • Log, prioritise and follow up on maintenance requests. • Keep safety records and drills current. • Track spending on visitor services and building supplies. • Manage space, keys and moves. What we are looking for • Basic knowledge of building systems. • Experience in facilities, property or building operations. • Practical, calm and organised. Nice to have • Facilities management certification. • Experience with a work-order system. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Detroit. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
