Facilities Coordinator - safety inspections (Virginia Beach, VA)

Summit West Arts Center runs a venue and education programmes in Virginia Beach, and we need a Facilities Coordinator to lead our safety inspections. You would join a small organisation of about 31 people based in Virginia Beach. What you will do • Log, prioritise and follow up on maintenance requests. • Manage space, keys and moves. • Track spending on visitor services and building supplies. • Coordinate vendors, contractors and inspections. • Keep safety records and drills current. What we are looking for • Basic knowledge of building systems. • Practical, calm and organised. • Experience in facilities, property or building operations. Nice to have • Facilities management certification. • Experience with a work-order system.
