Facilities Coordinator - safety inspections (San Jose, CA)

Westbrook Ember Housing is a nonprofit housing provider in San Jose, and we need a Facilities Coordinator to lead our safety inspections. You would join a small organisation of about 19 people based in San Jose. What you will do • Keep safety records and drills current. • Track spending on rent assistance and building supplies. • Manage space, keys and moves. • Coordinate vendors, contractors and inspections. • Log, prioritise and follow up on maintenance requests. What we are looking for • Practical, calm and organised. • Basic knowledge of building systems. • Experience in facilities, property or building operations. Nice to have • Facilities management certification. • Experience with a work-order system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in San Jose, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
