Facilities Coordinator - safety inspections (remote)

Harborlight Sparrow Arts Center is an arts centre in Virginia Beach with a full calendar of events. We are hiring a Facilities Coordinator to take on safety inspections. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Keep safety records and drills current. • Track spending on volunteer programmes and building supplies. • Coordinate vendors, contractors and inspections. • Manage space, keys and moves. • Log, prioritise and follow up on maintenance requests. What we are looking for • Experience in facilities, property or building operations. • Basic knowledge of building systems. • Practical, calm and organised. Nice to have • Facilities management certification. • Experience with a work-order system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Virginia Beach. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
