Facilities Coordinator - safety inspections (remote)

Fernwood Meridian Civic Services supports public agencies in Honolulu with budgeting, records and programmes, and we need a Facilities Coordinator to lead our safety inspections. Public service means patience, paperwork and pride in the outcome. What you will do • Keep safety records and drills current. • Manage space, keys and moves. • Track spending on permits and building supplies. • Coordinate vendors, contractors and inspections. • Log, prioritise and follow up on maintenance requests. What we are looking for • Basic knowledge of building systems. • Practical, calm and organised. • Experience in facilities, property or building operations. Nice to have • Facilities management certification. • Experience with a work-order system. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Honolulu. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
