Facilities Coordinator - safety inspections (remote)

Cedar Beacon Housing manages affordable housing communities across Houston, and we need a Facilities Coordinator to lead our safety inspections. You would join a small organisation of about 129 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Keep safety records and drills current. • Manage space, keys and moves. • Log, prioritise and follow up on maintenance requests. • Coordinate vendors, contractors and inspections. • Track spending on rent assistance and building supplies. What we are looking for • Basic knowledge of building systems. • Practical, calm and organised. • Experience in facilities, property or building operations. Nice to have • Facilities management certification. • Experience with a work-order system. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Houston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
