Facilities Coordinator - safety inspections (Grand Rapids, MI)

Silverline Wren Arts Center is looking for a Facilities Coordinator. The job centres on safety inspections for exhibitions, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 50 people based in Grand Rapids. What you will do • Keep safety records and drills current. • Coordinate vendors, contractors and inspections. • Manage space, keys and moves. • Track spending on exhibitions and building supplies. • Log, prioritise and follow up on maintenance requests. What we are looking for • Experience in facilities, property or building operations. • Practical, calm and organised. • Basic knowledge of building systems. Nice to have • Experience with a work-order system. • Facilities management certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Grand Rapids. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
