Facilities Coordinator - safety inspections (Des Moines, IA)

Rivermark Umber Hospitality Group operates hotels and event venues around Des Moines. We are hiring a Facilities Coordinator to take on safety inspections. You would join a small organisation of about 40 people based in Des Moines. What you will do • Keep safety records and drills current. • Manage space, keys and moves. • Track spending on housekeeping schedules and building supplies. • Log, prioritise and follow up on maintenance requests. • Coordinate vendors, contractors and inspections. What we are looking for • Basic knowledge of building systems. • Experience in facilities, property or building operations. • Practical, calm and organised. Nice to have • Experience with a work-order system. • Facilities management certification. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Des Moines. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
