Facilities Coordinator - safety inspections (Des Moines, IA)

Northwind Granite Housing provides affordable homes and support services around Des Moines, and we need a Facilities Coordinator to lead our safety inspections. Collaboration with local agencies is constant. What you will do • Log, prioritise and follow up on maintenance requests. • Track spending on maintenance stores and building supplies. • Keep safety records and drills current. • Manage space, keys and moves. • Coordinate vendors, contractors and inspections. What we are looking for • Experience in facilities, property or building operations. • Practical, calm and organised. • Basic knowledge of building systems. Nice to have • Experience with a work-order system. • Facilities management certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Des Moines, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
