Facilities Coordinator - safety inspections (Birmingham, AL)

Lumen Basin Civic Services provides shared administrative services to local governments around Birmingham. We are hiring a Facilities Coordinator to take on safety inspections. You would join a small organisation of about 83 people based in Birmingham. What you will do • Keep safety records and drills current. • Coordinate vendors, contractors and inspections. • Track spending on constituent requests and building supplies. • Manage space, keys and moves. • Log, prioritise and follow up on maintenance requests. What we are looking for • Practical, calm and organised. • Basic knowledge of building systems. • Experience in facilities, property or building operations. Nice to have • Facilities management certification. • Experience with a work-order system. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Birmingham. • We reply to every applicant.
