Facilities Coordinator - building operations (Virginia Beach, VA)

Cedar Oak Arts Center is a cultural organisation in Virginia Beach presenting exhibitions and performances. We are hiring a Facilities Coordinator to take on building operations. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Manage space, keys and moves. • Keep safety records and drills current. • Coordinate vendors, contractors and inspections. • Log, prioritise and follow up on maintenance requests. • Track spending on visitor services and building supplies. What we are looking for • Experience in facilities, property or building operations. • Basic knowledge of building systems. • Practical, calm and organised. Nice to have • Experience with a work-order system. • Facilities management certification. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Virginia Beach. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
