Facilities Coordinator - building operations (Virginia Beach, VA)

Bluepeak Birch Arts Center is an arts centre in Virginia Beach with a full calendar of events, and we need a Facilities Coordinator to lead our building operations. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Virginia Beach. What you will do • Keep safety records and drills current. • Track spending on exhibitions and building supplies. • Log, prioritise and follow up on maintenance requests. • Manage space, keys and moves. • Coordinate vendors, contractors and inspections. What we are looking for • Basic knowledge of building systems. • Practical, calm and organised. • Experience in facilities, property or building operations. Nice to have • Experience with a work-order system. • Facilities management certification. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Virginia Beach. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
