Facilities Coordinator - building operations (Oakland, CA)

Fernwood Ivory Hospitality runs guest-focused properties across the Oakland area. We are hiring a Facilities Coordinator to take on building operations. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep safety records and drills current. • Coordinate vendors, contractors and inspections. • Track spending on supplier orders and building supplies. • Log, prioritise and follow up on maintenance requests. • Manage space, keys and moves. What we are looking for • Basic knowledge of building systems. • Practical, calm and organised. • Experience in facilities, property or building operations. Nice to have • Experience with a work-order system. • Facilities management certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Oakland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
