Facilities Coordinator - building operations (Houston, TX)

Silverline West Arts Center is a cultural organisation in Houston presenting exhibitions and performances. We are hiring a Facilities Coordinator to take on building operations. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Houston. What you will do • Coordinate vendors, contractors and inspections. • Manage space, keys and moves. • Keep safety records and drills current. • Log, prioritise and follow up on maintenance requests. • Track spending on exhibitions and building supplies. What we are looking for • Basic knowledge of building systems. • Experience in facilities, property or building operations. • Practical, calm and organised. Nice to have • Facilities management certification. • Experience with a work-order system. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Houston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
