Facilities Coordinator - building operations (Chicago, IL)

Westbrook Orchard Arts Center runs a venue and education programmes in Chicago. We are hiring a Facilities Coordinator to take on building operations. We run on creativity, deadlines and a lot of goodwill. What you will do • Keep safety records and drills current. • Log, prioritise and follow up on maintenance requests. • Coordinate vendors, contractors and inspections. • Track spending on school partnerships and building supplies. • Manage space, keys and moves. What we are looking for • Experience in facilities, property or building operations. • Basic knowledge of building systems. • Practical, calm and organised. Nice to have • Facilities management certification. • Experience with a work-order system. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Chicago. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
