Dispatcher - driver support (Wichita, KS)

We are growing our team at Cedar West Freight and adding a Dispatcher whose main responsibility will be driver support. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Coordinate with the teams handling proof of delivery on changes. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. What we are looking for • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Calm decision-making under pressure. Nice to have • Knowledge of proof of delivery. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Wichita. • We reply to every applicant.
