Dispatcher - driver support (Wichita, KS)

Harborlight Lakeside Freight is looking for a Dispatcher. The job centres on driver support for dock schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Coordinate with the teams handling dock schedules on changes. • Track progress and update customers on timing. What we are looking for • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. Nice to have • Knowledge of dock schedules. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Wichita. • We reply to every applicant.
