Dispatcher - driver support (Savannah, GA)

Summit Umber Inspection Services tests and certifies buildings, pipelines and equipment around Savannah. We are hiring a Dispatcher to take on driver support. Training and certification are paid for. What you will do • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Coordinate with the teams handling equipment calibration on changes. • Track progress and update customers on timing. What we are looking for • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of equipment calibration. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Savannah. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
