Dispatcher - driver support (remote)

Stonegate Freight is looking for a Dispatcher. The job centres on driver support for carrier rates, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Coordinate with the teams handling carrier rates on changes. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. What we are looking for • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. Nice to have • Knowledge of carrier rates. • Experience with routing software.
