Dispatcher - driver support (remote)

Greenridge Birch Freight Group coordinates shipments and warehousing around Hartford, and we need a Dispatcher to lead our driver support. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Coordinate with the teams handling carrier rates on changes. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. What we are looking for • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of carrier rates. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Hartford. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
