Dispatcher - driver support (remote)

We are growing our team at Clearpath Meridian Freight and adding a Dispatcher whose main responsibility will be driver support. You would join a small organisation of about 28 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Coordinate with the teams handling dock schedules on changes. What we are looking for • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of dock schedules. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Seattle. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
