Stonegate Forge Freight is looking for a Dispatcher. The job centres on driver support for carrier rates, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We reward reliability. What you will do • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Coordinate with the teams handling carrier rates on changes. • Record hours and mileage accurately. What we are looking for • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of carrier rates.
