Dispatcher - driver support (remote)

Amberfield Union Inspection Services provides independent inspection and testing for industry across Rochester, and we need a Dispatcher to lead our driver support. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Coordinate with the teams handling field inspections on changes. • Record hours and mileage accurately. What we are looking for • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Calm decision-making under pressure. Nice to have • Knowledge of field inspections. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Rochester. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
