Dispatcher - driver support (remote)

Amberfield Quarry Environmental Services is an environmental-services company in Hartford with routes, transfer stations and recycling, and we need a Dispatcher to lead our driver support. You would join a large organisation of about 649 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Coordinate with the teams handling collection routes on changes. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Record hours and mileage accurately. What we are looking for • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Calm decision-making under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of collection routes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Hartford. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
