Dispatcher - driver support (remote)

Silverline Basin Inspection Services tests and certifies buildings, pipelines and equipment around Chicago, and we need a Dispatcher to lead our driver support. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Coordinate with the teams handling scheduling on changes. What we are looking for • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Calm decision-making under pressure. Nice to have • Knowledge of scheduling. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Chicago. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
