Dispatcher - driver support (remote)

We are growing our team at Cedar Wren Environmental Services and adding a Dispatcher whose main responsibility will be driver support. Safety briefings happen every morning. What you will do • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Coordinate with the teams handling recycling loads on changes. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Track progress and update customers on timing. What we are looking for • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Calm decision-making under pressure. Nice to have • Knowledge of recycling loads. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Anchorage. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
