Dispatcher - driver support (remote)

Redstone Orchard Freight is a Baltimore logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch. We are hiring a Dispatcher to take on driver support. You would join a large organisation of about 888 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Coordinate with the teams handling carrier rates on changes. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Record hours and mileage accurately. What we are looking for • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of carrier rates. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Baltimore. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
