Dispatcher - driver support (remote)

Fernwood Umber Inspection Services is looking for a Dispatcher. The job centres on driver support for test reports, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 705 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Coordinate with the teams handling test reports on changes. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Track progress and update customers on timing. What we are looking for • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. Nice to have • Knowledge of test reports. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Charlotte. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
