Dispatcher - driver support (remote)

Northwind Clear Farms Group supplies farm and food customers across the Des Moines region, and we need a Dispatcher to lead our driver support. Weather sets the schedule, and we plan around it. What you will do • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Coordinate with the teams handling harvest schedules on changes. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. What we are looking for • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of harvest schedules. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Des Moines. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
