Dispatcher - driver support (remote)

Summit Quarry Environmental Services collects and processes waste and recycling around Richmond. We are hiring a Dispatcher to take on driver support. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Coordinate with the teams handling landfill records on changes. • Track progress and update customers on timing. What we are looking for • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of landfill records. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Richmond. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
