Dispatcher - driver support (remote)

Amberfield Mill Environmental Services serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in Raleigh, and we need a Dispatcher to lead our driver support. We take pride in clean streets. What you will do • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Coordinate with the teams handling weigh tickets on changes. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. What we are looking for • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. Nice to have • Knowledge of weigh tickets. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Raleigh. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
