Dispatcher - driver support (remote)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Fern Freight and adding a Dispatcher whose main responsibility will be driver support. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Coordinate with the teams handling dock schedules on changes. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. What we are looking for • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of dock schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Albuquerque. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
