Dispatcher - driver support (remote)

Summit Wren Environmental Services collects and processes waste and recycling around Columbus. We are hiring a Dispatcher to take on driver support. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Coordinate with the teams handling fleet maintenance on changes. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. What we are looking for • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Calm decision-making under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of fleet maintenance. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Columbus. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
