Dispatcher - driver support (Raleigh, NC)

Amberfield Forge Freight Group is looking for a Dispatcher. The job centres on driver support for customer tracking, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 971 people based in Raleigh. What you will do • Coordinate with the teams handling customer tracking on changes. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. What we are looking for • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Calm decision-making under pressure. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of customer tracking. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Raleigh. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
