Dispatcher - driver support (Portland, OR)

We are growing our team at Stonegate Union Inspection Services Group and adding a Dispatcher whose main responsibility will be driver support. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Portland. What you will do • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Coordinate with the teams handling certifications on changes. • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Record hours and mileage accurately. What we are looking for • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of certifications. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Portland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
