Dispatcher - driver support (Portland, OR)

Greenridge Mill Environmental Services is an environmental-services company in Portland with routes, transfer stations and recycling. We are hiring a Dispatcher to take on driver support. You would join a large organisation of about 513 people based in Portland. What you will do • Track progress and update customers on timing. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Coordinate with the teams handling landfill records on changes. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. What we are looking for • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Calm decision-making under pressure. Nice to have • Knowledge of landfill records. • Experience with routing software. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Portland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
