Dispatcher - driver support (Portland, OR)

Ironwood Glen Inspection Services is looking for a Dispatcher. The job centres on driver support for client sites, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Portland. What you will do • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Coordinate with the teams handling client sites on changes. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Track progress and update customers on timing. What we are looking for • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of client sites. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Portland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
