Dispatcher - driver support (Pittsburgh, PA)

Amberfield Forge Freight coordinates shipments and warehousing around Pittsburgh. We are hiring a Dispatcher to take on driver support. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Assign jobs and routes to drivers and crews. • Record hours and mileage accurately. • Solve problems on the road such as delays, breakdowns and access issues. • Coordinate with the teams handling dock schedules on changes. • Track progress and update customers on timing. What we are looking for • Clear voice and good local knowledge. • Calm decision-making under pressure. • Experience in dispatch, driving or scheduling. Nice to have • Experience with routing software. • Knowledge of dock schedules. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Pittsburgh. • We reply to every applicant.
